These estimates are based on, Pencil edge- No back splash. Counter Length 146"1/2 x 22"1/2 depth (you will have a seam)
The Steel Gray sample you took (granite) I can price that one at $970.00 includes your tax. (retail cost would be $1,240.00)
The Quartz- Engineered stone- remnant (small speckled sample)- I can price that one at$1,017.50 includes tax
(retail cost if we were buying a new quartz slab- would be $2,010.) I tagged your name on this pc -it's the only one- I don't want to lose it while you decide...

Check with your contractor on the front apron I pointed out- (we were upstairs)
This estimate does not include the additional material or labor if you went with that finished detail.
If you place any cabinets under this counter top- the standard depths for cabinets would be 18"- 21" and 24" you will have a 1"1/2 overhang on the counter top when placed over cabinets.
